I painted her from behind on a porch, letting the open landscape carry the emotion rather than her face. I used the blue dress as the anchor, contrasting it with the warm yellows of the field and the soft, distant hills to create depth and quiet tension. The farmhouse frames her like a threshold, keeping the moment intimate while the view stretches outward. I kept the brushwork simple and clear, focusing on light, posture, and stillness to suggest reflection and distance.
